Caring for Your Clay

Treat it Right!

The best way to keep your beads healthy and happy is to store them in a dry cool spot. Polymer clay is a porous material and can scuff easily (especially the light colors). We suggest using a damp cloth to wipe any scuff marks. If you find there are marks that don’t come off, you can use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad, sparingly wiping to remove the mark. Avoid getting the item wet, keep away from perfumes or harsh chemicals to preserve the vibrant colors.

Easy Fixes

If beads are dropped repeatedly, they may break, so treat them kindly! In the rare event that a bead does break, super glue will typically help bond most polymer clay beads together again. We recommend the Gorilla Super Glue Gel for best results.

Big Uh-Oh’s

If your lanyard breaks during the shipping transit, please send a picture to KyviClay@Gmail.com and we would be happy to offer a replacement lanyard to you. We also want to remind you not to let kids or pets play with, wear, or chew on the beads. They are not for teething purposes at all and will break when chewed on β€” which is a potential choking hazard.
